If you stop just for a second, and think of the word ‘BORACAY’, an image will flash in your mind’s eye… Maybe it’s a Beautiful turquoise water, powdery white sand or deep red sunset. It might just be the perfect wave, the serenity of meditation or lively night life! Boracay has something different for everyone who visits her, and never fails to impress even the seasoned traveler.

Boracay named one of the top beach destinations in the world by CNN, Tripadvisor, Travel + Leisure, Lonely Planet Traveler’s Choice and many others. Boracay captured the No. 1 spot in the “Best Beaches in the world” for past so many years.

Boracay proudly boasts of its four-kilometer White Beach with its ultra-fine white sand. Its a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km (196 mi) south of Manila.

Yapak is known for beautiful white shells; White beach has picture-perfect sunsets; and Balinghai beach is a secluded spot, perfect for honeymooners. As long as you visit during dry season, you’ll agree this is one of the best beach destinations in the world. The Orient Beach is located at Yapac, Boracay. Five minutes away from Station one famous white beach and also five minutes away from Other beaches such as Balinghai, Punta Bunga, Banyugan, Puka Shell, Diniwid, Ilig-iligan, Bulabog beach.

Boracay is indeed a magical place. Any iconic photos of Boracay you’ve seen are likely to be from the westward-facing White Beach — four kilometers of white, powdery fine sand dotted with resorts, shops, and restaurants.

White Beach is composed of three sections.

The northernmost section – Station 1 – has the widest beachfront. This has the best resorts and hotels. The Orient Beach Boracay located near station 1 and just five minutes away by free shuttle.

The center of White Beach is Station 2. People come here to eat, shop, and party.

then Station 3, the southernmost section and narrower beach in this area.

Because the waters off White Beach are calm during Amihan season (November to May), tourism is at its peak during these months when the northeastern winds blow. Conditions reverse during the rainy season, when theHabagat or monsoon winds blow.

Bulabog Beach, on the eastern side of the island opposite White Beach, has large waves and strong winds year-round. This makes it a hotspot for windsurfing and kiteboarding. In fact, Bulabog Beach is considered Asia’s top kitesurf destination.

And because Boracay gets tourists from different parts of the globe, you’ll find a wide variety of food choices: Chinese, Indian, American, Mexican, French, Italian, Swiss — even Moroccan food! Fresh seafood is given.

There’s no shortage of activities for you at this island paradise. Boracay has around 25 dive sites that cater to all levels of experience. You can go parasailing. Take a paraw(native outrigger boat) for a tour of the island. Go waterskiing. Or cliff diving.

After all the sports, indulge in a luxurious massage right on the beach or at one of the spas. Enjoy a healthy fruit shake or take a relaxing dip at the pristine clear beach. Shop for shell jewelry. And when the sun goes down, you can head to any of Boracay’s bars for a taste of the island nightlife. Cocktails, draft beer, and imported ales flow nightly as live bands and pounding disco music entertain you.

Most importantly, don’t forget to soak up some rays and lounge around on the fine white sand that made Boracay famous.

The island of Boracay is famed for picture-perfect 4km White Powdery Beach, a wild nightlife scene and activities from scuba diving to kitesurfing, Boracay has something for everyone. It may be only 7km long and 1km wide at its narrowest point, but there are over thirty beaches and coves, and the sunsets are worth the journey in their own right. A short walk along the beach takes you past restaurants serving a veritable United Nations of cuisines, including Greek, Indian, Caribbean, French, Thai and more. The beach is also dotted with interesting little bars and bistros, some of them no more than a few chairs and tables on the beach, others where you can now sit in air-conditioned luxury eating Chateaubriand and smoking Cuban cigars.

Most visitors fall in love with White Beach, but don’t miss Puka Beach on the north coast, which is famous for shiny white seashells called puka. A pleasant way to get there is to hire a bangka on White Beach or  take a tricycle back. To the north of White Beach sits the little village of Diniwid with its two-hundred-metre beach, accessible from White Beach on a path carved out of the cliffs. At the end of a steep path over the next hill is the tiny Balinghai Beach, enclosed by walls of rock.

On the northeast side of the island Ilig-Iligan Beach has coves and caves, as well as jungle full of fruit bats. From the beach here a path leads a short way up the hill through the scrub to Bat Cave, which you can climb into and explore. It’s fantastic to be here at dusk when the bats leave the cave in immense flocks.
